What is your opinion on the GW7900B-1 with the negative display? My only concern is that due to its age/release date the sensors/technology will not be up to scratch compared to the same sensors/tech being released today. I’m a Surveyor I live upland but travel by sea, I work in difficult and rough terrains, swamps and creeks. I need a quality and rough time piece with state of the art features. I’m stuck with the choice of Casio GWN Q1000-1A and GPW 1000-B. I love the offering of the sea features but missing the GPS feature on the Gravity master, please help.
I think the tide graph can be useful but it gives limited information and does not predict the actual heights like a more comprehensive tide chart would. I was wondering if you could recommend one other watch for my son that might be between the size of the dark gray GMA-S110CM-8A and a full size G-shock. I want a watch for swimming that is not too big since I have a small wrist. I’m in sales marketing, I would like to own a G-Shock allow me to dress formal and casual looks, very confusing choice, I’m looking for price below USD$200. There is also “Full Auto” on some models which means it only activates in the dark when you turn your wrist. I’ve decided to get the GWM as my first G-Shock based on it being the thinnest G-Shock model I can find at 12.7mm.

If you are going to use the sensors a lot then I would suggest the GWG-1000 because it is solar-powered. The GA700 is larger than the others, has a front light button, and a longer estimated battery life. I would suggest picking the one you like the look of the most.
