Casio Watches And Casio G

For those looking for a more formal-looking G-Shock with a stainless steel bezel and band, but want to stay in the affordable realm, the GST-B300SD-1A is the natural choice. This is the first G-STEEL with a front-facing LED light button, and unlike many other analog-digital models, the LCD display is backlit so the entire background is illuminated . This mid-size watch is also solar-powered and can automatically adjust the time through a Bluetooth-connected smartphone, for maintenance-free operation.

Yes GA1100-9G has the Twin Sensor with compass and thermometer. Personally I would prefer a G-STEEL model as I would want Tough Solar power on an analog G-Shock. I think the GSTS100G-1A and GSTS300G-1A9 might be the same shade of gold.

They both have the Triple Sensor Version 3, so the sensor performance should be equal. The Rangeman is tougher, and water-resistant to 200 meters versus 100 meters for the PRW-6100. If you want a very tough watch with the Triple Sensor I would go with the Rangeman, Gulfmaster GWN-1000, or Mudmaster GWG-1000. The GST-B300 series is also available with a resin bezel and soft urethane bands. G-SHOCK was born in 1983 after two years of concentrated R&D by Kikuo Ibe and a team of engineers. Over 35 years and 100 million watches later, it’s clear that this quirky and tough timepiece has had an extraordinary impact on the watch world.

There is a phone finder feature – when engaged, the watch will visually show you where your phone is located in the room. Handy if you lose track of your phone from time to time. G-Shock DW6900BB-1 is worth getting for the looks alone. I have another black out watch (DW-5600BB) and it gets compliments all the time. It’s a unique fusion of old-school G-Shock design with the modern minimalist design that just works. Now, does the stainless steel build make this square tougher and more durable?

They are a normal size and not extra-large so they are good for females. A lot of women wear men’s G-Shock watches, even the larger models. The GWG A3 Mudmaster made its debut in the fall of 2015 and was the most highly anticipated new model since the Rangeman. The Mudmaster is a serious analog-digital upgrade of the popular Mudman series. The Mudmaster resembles the beefy Rangeman combined with an analog watch, making it one of the best-looking tactical-style analog G-Shocks.

The Bluetooth connection also provides other features such as easy watch setting, reminder alerts with descriptions, a time and place log, and a phone finder function. G-Shock purists will appreciate the full stainless steel inner case and screw-lock case back (like the original G-Shock DW-5000C). The GG-B100 is also unique in that the order of the main menu on the watch can be customized. The G-Shock GA-2000 series utilizes the Carbon Core Guard structure which is billed as G-Shock’s “third material” after resin and metal.

It’s medium-large if you will – certainly not a small watch. It comes in multiple styles, but my favorite is the military black. There is also a “regular” black & red Mudman that looks more similar to other G-Shock watches. At the end of the day, it’s an excellent self-adjusting watch.

For other basic G-Shock functions, the notable ones are the timer and stopwatch functions which have been tweaked to fit the tastes of fitness enthusiasts. The best digital display on a G-Shock is the one on the GPR B 1000 Rangeman. I have bought and sold G shock over the years and I currently own 5 models, four are analogue/digital and one is digital GW 9400). My common disappointment with all of them is the poor digital displays in both bright and dark lighting conditions. Could you recommend a watch with lots of features but with a really good and legible digital readout.

It is the best choice for a serious all-around outdoor or survival watch, as its digital structure will theoretically handle more abuse than a watch with mechanical moving parts. If you could only have one G-Shock, the Rangeman would likely be the best choice. For more color options and limited editions, see all Rangeman models. The DW V is referred to as the “standard issue” G-Shock and is often seen worn by military personnel around the world.

This is the basic application baby g shock for connecting and communicating with a Bluetooth v4.0 enabled CASIO watch. The layered guard structure of G-STEEL never sacrifices toughness for true style.
