It saved a ton of closet space by not having to keep both my vacuum and mop easily accessible. The BISSELL CrossWave Cordless Max does an okay job of handling debris in cracks. The BISSELL CrossWave Cordless Max’s performance on low-pile carpet is poor. It has a hard time with both fine debris like baking soda and larger material like sand on this surface type. We have a large area of tiled floor and a mastiff who sheds.

It can tackle messes on hard floors like tile, linoleum, wood, or laminate, as well as carpets, rubber floor mats, and area rugs. Its 36V lithium-ion battery gives you about 30 minutes of cordless cleaning power and convenience. This multi-surface cleaner is smooth to use, with great suction whether going over pet hair or cleaning spillages.
As with its sibling, the Bissell CrossWave Cordless Max can tackle hard floors as well as rugs and carpets. I was super impressed by the way it miraculously removed all traces of pet hair and ketchup, returning the brush to near new condition after just one cleaning binge. I just wish Bissell could improve the interface between the cleaner and cleaning base because the current method is way too clunky. You can use it on your floors, linoleum, wood, tile, and rugs — wet, dry or yep, even both at the same time for a deeper clean.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] After spending over $300 we were hoping for an all in one vacuum and floor cleaner. We just used it on our hardwood and tile floors and there is wet pet hair everywhere. So now we have to wait for it to dry and bring out the old busted duster vacuum and do it all over again. The product does not do what it says for hardwoods and tile if you have short hair dogs like a black lab.
Still, the lack of a power cord makes it noticeably easier to maneuver compared to the BISSELL CrossWave Pet Pro. The irobot vacuum cleaner Max has some disadvantages in dealing with pet hair. It does a fantastic job of dealing with pet hair on bare floors, but you might need to make an extra pass to collect all of it on low-pile carpeting. Its brushroll is pretty tangle-prone, but thankfully you can remove it to clear away any stuck-on hair. Since you can’t configure it as a handheld vacuum, it isn’t suitable for cleaning pet hair from furniture.
The BISSELL® CrossWave® Cordless Max is a revolutionary all-in-one, multi-surface cleaner that washes and vacuums floors at the same time. Engineered for homes with pets, CrossWave Cordless Max is suitable for hard floors and rugs. Once you release the trigger, the floor cleaner then sucks up the dirty water into the waste tank. The tank has a capacity of 0.55 litres, so you’ll likely have to empty it a couple of times for each full tank of cleaning solution. I’ve even given some hard floor steam cleaners a whirl which you can read about in T3’s guide to the Best Steam Cleaners. Overall, this vacuum works well for general, wet-dry vacuum cleaning.

I have tried everything I can think of to have the Crosswave not leave a puddle of dirty water when I stop using it or go to move it but it always does. If I’m going to clean up puddles might as well use a regular mop. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This product literally changed my life….I have 3 sons, 3 bulldogs and it was awesome to vacuum and mop all at once.
