When I first got the Max, I was still learning how to use the self-cleaning function. Well, once I purchased the Bissell Crosswave last year, I quickly found out the answer – Yes! I discussed last year how the Crosswave worked beautifully on my floors and really made it easy to freshen up my space.
The first con of the Bissel Crosswave Max is one that I have been worried about since the beginning. I talked about the battery life in my first blog, and I will say, it takes a lot to get used to. Now, I have experienced the vacuum more and expanded my thoughts.
As hard floor vacuum mops go, this one is the knees of the bee. It’s also more widely available to buy than many if its Chinese competitors. I love that I can vacuum and mop at the time with my new shark cordless MAX which saves me heaps of time. The fragrances of the cleaning fluids also leaves my house smelling lovely and clean.
Emptying the contents into the sink was easy but I did have to manually remove a bunch of hair and rinse the whole tank under the tap – par for the course with any floor cleaner. Then it only had water coming out one side of the scrubbers and kept leaving streaks and dirt which started getting bigger and bigger and I had to go over it with a mop. I watched the how to videos to make sure I was doing it right, I was. Now I’m trying to sell this machine and hopefully somebody buys it, unfortunately there’s a ton of them on Facebook marketplace. I only have Bissell and Dyson in my house, but my last 2 Bissell’s have been disappointing.
