The Hypertension Indicator displays your blood pressure readings compared to average blood pressure levels. If your systolic blood pressure reaches 130 mmHg or above and/or the diastolic blood pressure reaches 80 mmHg or above, the blood pressure indicator displays a ‘HIGH’ symbol. The BP monitor also features an Irregular Heartbeat Detector that is built in to detect fluctuations or irregular heartbeats while measuring blood pressure. If irregularities are detected outside of normal parameters, an indicator icon will alert users. The Omron 3 Series BP710N model is an upgraded version of the original BP710 device.
