Oasis and Studio Gray can be much more affordable than Black. K-Mini Plus coffee makers are available in five colors to suit any decor, from practical to wild. You can choose between matte black, cardinal red, evening teal, studio gray, and matte white. It’s an attractive and sleek design, with the chrome accent on the drip tray definitely classing it up versus the K-Mini. The Keurig K-Mini Plus coffee maker is a first generation Keurig machine that is compatible only with 1.0 coffee pods, rather than the newer 2.0 pods. This is to the consumer’s advantage, as 1.0 pods are much more readily available and affordable .
It does, however, imply that you must add water between each brew cycle. This may be inconvenient if you are hosting an event, but it will spare you the trouble of hauling large quantities of water back and forth. You store the pod storage container under the brew nozzle when you aren’t using the machine. It keeps coffee handy, but concealed and the whole thing looks tidy.
Keurig claims that they utilize BPA-free materials in the manufacturing process. However, just like with other Keurig machines, I am disappointed that Keurig puts so much plastic in their coffee makers. If you plan to move your brewer to a different location, turn the brewer off, unplug it, and empty the water reservoir.
Just clean with a damp, soapy, lint-free, non-abrasive cloth. Never immerse the brewer in water or other liquids.
