My only complaint, is that the quick release spring is nice, but when you have arthurites in the wrist, it makes it difficult to compress, hold and swap out the blades. But then so does using the allen wrench required with the MM tool. The DeWalt multi-tool has aa variable speed trigger switch and a quick-release device for a rapid, tool-free change of blades. It isn’t that loud, more of a digital noise that their other Dewalt brushless tools though. It is a pain trying to find attachments unless you have the adapter with you.

The DeWalt has a variable-speed control trigger—rather than a switch as on some other models—and continuous-on trigger lock. The powerful 3-amp motor has been up to all the jobs we’ve done with the tool. It’s noisy but it cuts well and has plenty of power for most dewalt tools things you use a multi tool for. That kit was $99 on BF last year at Lowe’s, I believe it was $99 bare tool at HD for BF…maybe the HD kit came with a 1.3 Ah battery. I know Lowe’s had the better deal b/c that’s where I bought mine. The spring clamps the blade securely and allows for the blade to be moved to different positions to accommodate the cutting application.
