A true example of why size is not an inhibitor in the coffee maker world. The k mini and k-slim are both less than 5” in width so you’re sure to find a spot for them in your kitchen. Their size, however, does not take away from Hamilton Beach their performance. They are both able to produce a perfect cup in rapid time. If you are looking for a small coffee maker which can fit in your crammed countertop then the k-slim and k mini are going to be the perfect solution.
If you’re in a rush, we’ll tell you straight off the bat that this machine is ideal for someone working with a small space and who doesn’t need more than one cup of joe at a time. While it didn’t score the highest spot on our Keurig machine buying guide, it still holds its own as a premier single serve coffee appliance. Also, make sure to research the lower priced brands too. In many ways, this is a triumphant machine for its price. It is economical, beautiful, quiet, easy to live with and incredibly portable. For anybody for whom these considerations are important, therefore, it makes for a very enticing package. It is a very light machine, coming in at less than 5 lbs, so it’s usable and portable for pretty much everyone. You can take it on vacations if you like to go glamping or to self-catering accommodation where there might not be coffee making facilities. Students can take it to school easily enough each term.
This makes the operation of the device a walk in the park. The buttons also have led backlights enabling them to be easily visible when operating the machine in the dark. Reservoir – The compact reservoir placed at the back of the k mini can easily be accessed from the top easing the refilling of water.
When you press the strong button the brew flow is slower resulting in a longer brew cycle but a more complete extraction – dare I say strong or bold. Both machines are also very small and take up very little real Keurig K-Mini estate on your kitchen cabinet. I’ve included the K-Mini on my list of smallest k-cup coffee makers. It’s the more expensive option on the list but it’s probably made to a better quality than the others.
