While the Griddler isn’t huge, we were able to cook a full pound of sliced mushrooms on one side while we cooked zucchini on the other, and we could easily cook two sandwiches at once. The bottom side tended to cook at a higher temperature than the top, but it was easy enough to flip foods over. When using it as a contact grill, it gave us good grill marks and did a fine job with steaks, burgers, and more. We appreciated the ease of using the Griddler, as well as the simple cleaning of the grill plates in the dishwasher. The upper and lower housing units are made of sleek stainless steel and features a full, panini handle that can be gently pressed to make full contact with sandwich bread.

Just press the hinge release lever and open the cover until the handle firmly contacts with the countertop. There is great temperature control and I have cooked both and the grill had done an excellent job. I find that you don’t need to presoak wooden skewers in the water before grilling them on the Griddler.
