No issues, but I agree it is more for whole house cleaning than a spot at a time because of the cleanup time. I do the self clean than rinse everything and air dry. I stocked up on rollers and cleaning solution a few months ago shark cordless when target had it all on sale. The CrossWave retails at $399.99, which seems like a fair price for a machine that combines so many cleaning functions into one appliance, along with a cordless design and long battery life.
Although this model is called the CrossWave Cordless Max, it’s no bigger than the previous CrossWave Cordless. In fact, at just 5.22kg, this model is actually lighter than its predecessor. It’s also the recipient of a few design tweaks that make it the better cleaner overall. Something I’ve had to get used to with the Bissell crosswave is its weight. It’s 11.5 pounds does give me a bit of an arm workout by the time I’m done cleaning my floors. I still have to schedule out time to make sure that my carpet gets a thorough deep cleaning.
That’s then attached to a metal pole that connects to the rest of the cleaner. We don’t love the design of the Bissell Crosswave, but it’s functional. It’s easy to carry around if you have a large home, and the main body of the cleaner is quite thin so it won’t take up too much cupboard space. Want to add the self cleaning cycle is stupid, you can accomplish the same thing by just running the machine on the floor, all the machines in theory have a self cleaning cycle. To call out a special self cleaning cycle is sorta false advertising…
Being a cordless vac, it requires charging before you can use it and comes with a charging dock for that purpose. The charging dock also acts as a tray on which irobot vacuum cleaner to clean, dry, and store the vacuum. Charging happens automatically when you place the CrossWave Max of the dock, and you do not need to press any buttons.

Before next use, pop all of this stuff back inside your machine with the clean water tank filled with a mix of cleaning solution and water – there are markers based on the size of your home. The BISSELL CrossWave Cordless Max is great for pretty much anyone with several rooms to clean, but little time to do so – since it does three jobs in one. Though saying that, we didn’t find that this machine dried floors as well as we would hope. They will still be damp, but not as wet as they would be after mopping. It’s also great for parents and pet owners, since it can vacuum up liquid-based mess, too, and it rids the need of getting out your vacuum and mop when something is spilt.
