It’s on it’s 3rd winter and I love the quality! This is for Montreal winters, not Nunavut. But I see plenty of Canada Goose jackets around here. I would definitely never pay that price. My Burberry, Armani and Hugo Boss parkas were quite a bit more expensive (000’s) than Canada Goose, but I enjoy/ed wearing them.
I tried on a CG and it didn’t fit me right. I am small upper and very hippie.I found some warm alternative brands that won’t break the bank too much….. I love and own a Canada Goose down winter jacket. It’s a light version with no fur collar. It keeps me warm in winter time and it helps me to have a good feeling of being a Canadian. My only real gripe about the coat is the logo being so obvious.
I used to have to turn down participating in outdoor activities like snowshoeing and ice fishing , simply because just walking to the event was so brutal I’d have to abort. But the popularity of 3000 down and yuan of inexpensive down clothes is a puzzle for some people. Of course, if you are lazy to see the parameters and purchase details of down jacket, you can also directly pull to the last part of the list of recommended items. It took two or three years to know how to buy a suitable down jacket. Now, we can even say that we know more about the industry than most people know. Be on the lookout for some of these brands to be discounted during Black Friday / Cyber Monday deals. Otherwise don’t really try to buy something on Boxing Day.

I would NEVER spend that kind of money on a coat that everybody is wearing and frankly looks like a coat the postal workers wear. Over $300 in 1982 would be equivalent to over $650 today. Out of curiosity was your coat made in the USA or overseas.
