What I really like is the more square, angular style of the Caravan. I had seen the AO Original Pilot and Randolph Engineering aviators beforehand, but think the more rectangular and angular style of the Caravan seems slightly better for a rounder face. Whereas the AO Pilot is more square and more rounded. I can get a pair of Ray-Ban Caravans for around £80, which isn’t terrible, but I’m not too fussed about having Ray-Ban branding on a pair of aviators.
