The rotisserie spit worked well and produced a nicely roasted chicken, but you have to know how to truss a bird in order for it to cook evenly. And afterward, we had to soak the spit overnight to get the gunk off. The cake we baked was too dark and rose unevenly because the lip on the oven rack tilted the pan.

The food is perfect, whether you use convection bake, convection broil, or air fry. And you do not have to worry about leaving it on since the air ovens have a timer and it turns off when each food item is finished. Don’t get me wrong – the Cuisinart-60 Air Fryer/Toaster Oven is a great kitchen workhorse. It gives you lots of cooking options, a large enough cooking area, and quick cooking times.
It’s perfect because you can chat with your guests in the kitchen while cooking. Also, with its low-noise and interior light inside the oven, you won’t wake anyone up when you’re cooking up a midnight snack. Though Philips is the smallest air-fryer in our test, it’s capacity for wings and fries exceeds the larger-size Cuisinart cuisinart soup maker and almost matches the massive Breville. The Avance XL air fryer can fit around 26 chicken wings in the basket which is a pretty big amount. You comfortably fill the bottom with 43 oz of french fries, perfect for 3-4 servings. You are going to have to toss them around halfway through cooking for an even air-fry.
We tested our top three models to see which one fries the best and also take a look at the additional features offered by these multi-cookers and how they perform. Absolutely worth the counter space IMO, and we don’t have a lot of it in our city condo. It is the only appliance other than our espresso machine and drip coffee maker that has been awarded coveted counter space.
The control panel is a touch-sensitive interface that’s easy to understand. You’ll see the ‘star’ button here as well – this is a programmable favorite button.
