In my mind, this accord is the “2010 shopping center perfume accord which makes me cough” and it covers all other notes. Beautiful feminine powdery sweet scent..it is popular for a reason..it has excellent longevity and silage…timeless beauty in my opinion. I like this Estee Lauder NIGHT REPAIR perfume, but i dont reach for it often. Doesnt give me a headache, but i can after a couple of days using it, feel tired of it. REALLY strong and sillage is perfect, nothing to complain about in that end, i would wish every perfume had the same sillage and longevity.
GH’s beauty director is a fan of its subtle, irresistible sweetness balanced with warmth. Looking for a light floral fragrance at a bargain price? This Estée Lauder classic is a clear winner. Evelyn Lauder designed this beloved perfume to capture the freshness of flowers after a spring rain, with top notes of white lily, violet leaves, and green leaves. This cult-favorite Viktor & Rolf fragrance has earned its “most popular” status. Shaped like a grenade, this perfume explodes with the super feminine, warm floral scent of jasmine, freesia, and rose in a single spritz.
The iris, for me, is very strong, but plays nicely with the jasmine. There is also a note of what resembles burnt sugar, not bitter but like on creme brulee that bullys the fragrance. As soon as I get a whiff of the white flowers, it elbows up to the front and takes over. I can understand why a lot of people would hate it. The opening is just too sweet to the point that it’s kinda icky feeling, but I just love the dry down, the patchouli smell doesn’t stink on my skin if I spray it liberally.
It smells youthful, but seems to be more popular with older women than younger. I think many people find this a bit generic, but I am sure that is because of the multitude Estee Lauder makeup of “smell alike” fragrances on the market now. I have a few samples of this and don’t wear it too often so might not need to buy a bottle, but I do like it quite a bit.
When I used to wear it, I would just spray once. I used to get compliments all the time wearing this. The only reason I don’t have it in my collection anymore, is simply because I have found an alternative that I prefer. I ADORED this perfume back in the day, I’m talking summer 2013 when I was just a teen, I discovered this perfume and felt like it changed my life. Sweet and sensual vanilla, blackcurrant and pear. However I’m 26 now and I don’t really see the appeal, I bought it again but I get a headaches from it.
I honestly think this one is brutally overrated. It’s one of the most generic perfumes I can recall ever trying. I also had problem with the nozzle as it created more of a jet than a mist. I thought it was just a faulty one but I noticed the same thing in the bottles on store shelfs. I applied it by dabbing with a cotton bud but it didn’t help much.
Icy notes of Blue Himalayan Poppy mix with Desert Datura Flower and finish with a warm vanilla. It’s unlike any perfume you’ve smelled before. This captivating perfume blends genifique passion flowers and vanilla with the warm vetiver that creates a deep and lingering impression. La Vie Est Belle is a joyful scent that promotes femininity and happiness.
