I am now just thankful to get through the day without smelling it on someone else. At this point the fragrance is so well blended the only thing my nose really picks out is the praline and then “everything else” which is uniquely LVEB. There Estee Lauder NIGHT REPAIR is really just nothing else like it. After all, I want to retain some uniqueness at least! But I do have a sample of LVEB I wear at times and deeply enjoy. Every time I wear it, I feel the class and elegance in its sweet-floral aroma.
If you want a fruity patchouli and can’t stand the volume of Chanel Coco Mademoiselle, it would be a good choice. At the base layer of this scent, the final odors to emerge are those which add a little Oriental mystery to the fragrance. As many have said, perhaps not the ideal reach for a very warm day, but I can see this being a 3-season perfume where I live. It’s not a dirty patchouli; it’s just a dash there for grounding and longevity. This fragrance is absolutely beautiful.
Haven’t worn many times and still trying to decide how I feel about this. Today maybe I applied too much because the sweetness level was cloying and a bit nauseating. I wiped some off using hand sanitizer and it calmed down a little. Teenage me loved this scent, but I find myself gravitating away from it as I age.
