Lancome Idole

Beautiful, soft yet seductive scent. A fragrance that provides a pleasant and delightful scent. I absolutely love this light feminine sexy scent. A unique blendable and fresh texture is divine and leaves the complexion perfectly smooth, velvety and matte with no powdery effect. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love the scent.it stays long and its not too strong.

The latest fragrance from Lancôme is a dud. There is nothing truly unique anymore in perfume, but this is just so unmemorable. I think it will do well with the younger genifique crowd…. Really not my favorite when I first smelled it, it was good but then after I sprayed it, i was nauseous I didn’t like it gave it to my sister.

I used to wear or smell something like it often. It evokes mental images of the past but I still can’t quite put my finger on it and say what it smells like. In my opinion, a safe but uninspired blind buy. Wouldn’t buy a full bottle but maybe would consider a purse spray if I got a good deal. Not a review; for those who think that some perfumes are “for over 40 years old businessswoman”, instead of returning, keep them in a box and forget it in your drawer.

Pear does usually smell sweet on me. It’s a little more mature and sophisticated than the glut of pink juices on the market. Good for anything from running errands to a day wedding.

Generic to me would be all the million “gourmands” with caramel and marshmallow and whatever candy note mixed with piercing patchouli. But I must say, even though Idôle can be called boring, generic, simple Estee Lauder makeup etc., I do enjoy it in a way. It’s soapy and fresh, uncomplicated and makes you feel clean. It’s also very soft and not cloying at all, which makes it great for wearing indoors just for yourself.
