However for the price I would not purchase this full price. I do think other creams from Lancôme deliver more results though. Received a large sample tub and I’ve loved it. You only need a dab to spread easily across the whole face. Subtle smell that reminds me of mum’s cold cream. Face is left plumper and calmer for sure.
It does contain alcohol but I had no issues with it drying my skin out. It’s offers very light moisture but it does leave a little stickiness behind prior to moisturizer application. It does help moisturizer to absorb more easily into skin. It also helps retain moisture so skin is softer, smoother, and more supple. I received a sample of this in my last order, I have also bought this before, I love the moisturising ingredients in this product, but I gave one less star for the fragrance.

Smooth onto your skin after applying the Beauty Essence. It had a thick gel consistency that is highly spreadable so a little goes a long way. The formula had a cooling effect upon touching the skin, this felt very soothing on irritated skin. They dont contain fragrance, so they smell original. The ugly smell is just original smell from yeast and another brand dont use fragrance just like sk II.
It’s soft and hydrating and I wear it under make-up. It does take a generous amount of time for your skin to soak it up so it can feel a tiny bit oily at times. I’ve nearly run out of my small pot and want to buy more, Estee Lauder NIGHT REPAIR but still not sure if it’s worth the money. One of my favourite moisturisers I love how soothing it is on the skin. My skin is already oily, so I need a day time moisturiser that is hydrating but not oily/heavy.
I received a sample of this product and tested it tonight. It feels hydrating and silky smooth on my skin. It hasn’t irritated my sensitive eczema prone skin. I received this as a gift and I used it today for the first time.
