The fruity notes are still there. It’s very dark and sweet, when I say syrupy, I mean it’s VERY sweet and syrupy, but it’s also dark and mystrious. I think it smells very gothic and like something a vampire would wear. It’s a less complicated fromula, but I think my only complaint is I wish they had kept the caramel.
It is basically a red fruits/rose combination in a vanilla base. Actually red fruits shine better in the hot days. It is not cloying and I don’t find it too heavy for summer at all. Second, the rose gives a touch of classy and elegant fragrance but I would not say it is just for nights.
I’ve been dying to try La Nuit Tresor because my favorite fragrance category is heavy floriental gourmands, and it didn’t disappoint. Sweet, cozy, and pleasant, genifique though it’s definitely going to be too strong for the crowd that likes cleaner scents. I really enjoy this one a lot more than I thought I would.
As it develops, it improves into a very nice, sexy intoxicating scent. Very pretty and powdery sweet, a good date night scent. I fall short of words to express how delicious, exquisite and beautiful this fragrance projects on me. The notes blend in an awesome way and each phase develops in an amazingly gorgeous out of words fashion. Wouldn’t personally wear it for work because of how intense it smells. With this perfume you will seduce your man for sure.
This scent is absolutely BEAUTIFUL. One spray and it’s enough to fill up a room, not to mention it lasts for ages on my skin! Definitely more of a autumn/winter type of perfume, but gorgeous nonetheless! I watched lots of reviews about it before blind buying it. People said it’s a heavy perfume. So I only wore one spray but I couldn’t smell anything.
Basically if you like super sweet long lasting and strong scents I highly recommend this, but if you think head turners are tacky or smelly, stay away from this one. The sillage is fantastic; I can smell it on myself from the moment I spray it on to after a 10 hour shift. Long lasting and strong so maybe not the smartest choice for the office or school, but this would be a good choice for a more…spontaneous event? A party, or nightclubbing, or maybe even a date? I love the description by Lancôme on their website, because this IS modernly romantic.
It’s too heavy to be worn any other way. Also, I would have to wear it for a few hours before I could actually enjoy the beauty of the scent because the opening is so terrible and the middle Estee Lauder NIGHT REPAIR notes are mediocre. This perfume is what I expected Good Girl to be like and was disappointed. This scent definitely hits all the gourmand notes but is also its own distinct fragrance.
