This griddle is for use with liquid propane gas only. The conversion to or aempted use of natural gas in this LP gas grill is dangerous and will void your warranty. This outdoor cooking gas appliance must not be placed under overhanging combusble structure. A minimum clearance of 36 inches from combusble construcons to the sides of the griddle and 36 inches from the back of the griddle to combusble construcons must be maintained. Keep your griddle in an area clear and free from combusble materials, gasoline and other flammable vapors and liquids. This griddle is intended for use outdoors and must not be used in a building, garage or any other enclosed or covered area.
This griddle settles above two independently controlled 30,000 BTU burners, that allow you to have different temperatures. All I had to do was wipe it clean with a paper towel. Then, when it was time for cleanup, I just removed the drip tray, dumped the grease in the trash and cleaned the tray in the sink. Season heavy when you first get it, for us we find crisco on it after cooking on it works great. 100% highly recommend, mine even came damaged and I was promptly sent a new one. Next, turn the heat on high until it blackens and smokes. Allow it to cool and then add several more layers of cooking oil by repeating the process. If a grill or griddle will live outside, it’s also a good idea to buy a cover for it to protect it from the elements.
