Mens G Shock Watches

For a $300 watch, the light should be an even, pleasant glow. Many $10 watches have much better “light up” appearances than these upper end Casios. I have an older atomic solar G Shock with a positive display and this one syncs with the atomic clock better–it has done so every night since I bought it. I agree with the other positive comments about great functionality and comfort–love the bracelet. I’d like to say more about the negative display since it gets so many negative comments. It is true that one often has to find an optimum angle to view it in various lighting conditions.

FYI, I had a new, spare, $8, generic, black velcro band that I’d planned to use on my old watch, so I tried it on this watch & it works great. It looks decent & you’d have to know that the watch originally came with a different band to pick up on it’s being a replacement. Still, for me, the alarm killed my enthusiasm for the watch.

Only downside I have found is the light when used at night is only good enough to see the time. So make sure you set your alarm prior to the darkness if you are out camping. Because of this toughness, water resistance and unique look, G-Shock g shock protection watches gained immense popularity in the 1990’s with extreme sport athletes, first responders, military personnel and various outdoorsmen. It was around this same period that Casio launched the Baby G collection for women in a smaller size.

The good-looking designs and utility colors of these models maximize coordination possibilities with both everyday fashions and training wear. Casio has a long time experience producing analog-digital watches, their development being sustained by the constant feedback from customers, so many of these watches are really top-notch (the GA-100C included). It is not working by sea level standard, it’s actually a function of barometer and temperature combined. You’ll have to set the altitude reference yourself; but once set, it will give you an accurate reading, which is pretty amazing from a tool of the size of a watch. And finally, the digital compass will also be a great help for you in the open. You may not need it a lot, but it’s very handy for those who hike using a topographic map.

The con if you want to choose this option though, is that its durability makes it bulky, and somewhat underwhelming in terms of appeal. It’s made with lightweight metal and fine resin components that don’t sacrifice the durability the brand is known for. The bracelet band on the new MTGB2000D is made with partially hollow stainless-steel segments that encase the fine resin inserts, meaning it weighs about 15 percent less than the previous MT-G model. The result is a watch that’s comfortable on your wrist all day long.
