The Carbon

It easily survived the bumpy ride, being totally submerged in mud, an encounter with a hostile local, and an ATV that seemed to catch fire briefly. Of course, that’s a fraction of what the Mudmaster is built to withstand and just a small piece of the performance it promises, and the GGB100 packs new durability features and tech at a characteristically approachable price. For 2019, the new flagship Casio G-Shock watch in the $300-$400 USD range is the Mudmaster GG-B100 model family. It consists of a few color variations, with this mostly black-toned reference GGB100-1A being the version I reviewed.

You can find this model in a greyish color tone, which not only is durable and tough to wear under harsh environment, but also completes your outlook in a very different manner. Another one from the same collaboration in color khaki which looks quite different as compared to the black one. Same in specification but with a different outlook the G Shock Mud Master GG-B100BA-1ADR has a black dialer against khaki Resin band.

Yes, the case is a whopping 53.1mm wide and 19.3mm thick, but like just about all G-Shock watches, it’s ergonomically curved and light on the wrist at just 92g. For a price of $350 retail, the Mudmaster GGB100 offers a healthy dose of the G-Shock brand personality and experience, a ton of functionality, and genuinely tough watch you don’t need to worry about. The bluetooth smartphone link, however, makes a lot of sense and genuinely enhances the user experience in several ways.

While mundane to some, this feature would be paramount to someone who might be on a trail during or after a rain. If you’re not going over the bars, you’ll be hauling your bike at some point, loading into your Honda Element, or making repairs to it. All these things are typically avoided by people in the watch community while wearing a watch. You’re going to encounter dirt or mud in this sport, and Lord knows you might want to sell a watch down the road which is nearly impossible if it’s beaten all to hell. In terms of techy features, G-Shock watches measure, calculate, and display information in several ways.

With that said, it is a rather large watch, as to be expected from a watch made for the outdoors. Obviously, this isn’t a watch that you wear with your suit, and it is also relatively heavy compared to many other G-Shocks, weighing in at about 120 grams. It supports 29 time zones, plus radio wave reception baby g shock for the most accurate time possible. (Pocket-lint) – Casio has announced a G-Shock watch in its Master of G series that could very well be its most extreme yet. The hands on the dial have significant all black counter sections that actually block the hands when they pass over each other.

However, it’s left out of a watch that is marketed to spend its life outside and will force you to change them roughly every 2 years. Like most G-Shocks, the Mudmaster comes will all the standard features, a stopwatch feature, 5 alarms (with snooze!) and 31 world times. Maybe even the baby g shock extreme sports guys wouldn’t use these features, but they’re there and fun to use in daily life. Like the Yeti SP5C Bike, the Casio is made for extreme conditions and abuse. It takes its name from the Mud Resist system of gaskets in the pipes that keep mud and dust out of the watch.

This item not only works tough but also looks promising and more suitable for people who know how to maintain their looks. For all the all-black lovers, this timepiece is best suitable as it does not only fulfill your work demands but also looks extremely breath-taking with a black resin band and dialer. With triple resistance qualities against mud, water and vibration this color option is best suitable for the ones shining out no matter at what place they are.

Going back to the dial, legibility is excellent for an analog Casio watch. Casio’s work on contrast as a concept on analog dials is getting better and better each year, and the brand is still producing designs that are visually engaging baby g shock and detailed. I do, however, want to see Casio work with better luminant in the future. They probably don’t put too much stock in it since this and all other G-Shock watches have a bright white LED backlight for the dial.
