A special vibration-resistant construction lets them stand up to wear while operating cutters, crushers, drills and other heavy machinery to clear way large obstacles. This is CASIO’s first analog watch to come with Mud Resist construction, which helps to ensure that nothing gets into the watch when down and dirty work takes you deep into the dirt and sludge. Multiple gaskets are used on the pipes that guide buttons and shafts, which keeps mud out. These pipes not only act to protect buttons from impact, they also enhance button operation. The screw-in force of the screw lock bezel on an internal gasket further increases mud resistance. Setup is a breeze, and Casio’s Connected G-Shock app remains one of the very best examples of a watchmaker adopting Bluetooth technology.
The Mudmaster is as tough as ever, yet so much more wearable, and considerably less visually challenging, then brought sensibly up-to-date with the latest connected technology. When you press the top right button you get the seconds hand now pointing north for you AND a digital readout in bearing degrees for the direction you are currently facing. You can also change this readout to a NSEW readout rather than a specific bearing. The watch also allows you to drop a virtual pin on a location and then have the watch indicate direction for you to return to that location later. The numbers at 12,3,6 and 9 are easily legible and there is a digital display at the 6 position giving you a digital clock as well as the analogue hands. Just be aware that around 6pm and 6am the digital part is hard to read as the sword hour hand passes over it.

Some may say that the future is for the smart watches but I strongly disagree with that.
