I don’t know of any fragrance that actually smell close to it though. Nothing to add but this is the epitome of masculine men’s fragrance. I never wore this on a regular basis in the past but I believe the recently purchased bottle I have, though true to what I remember, has the overall heft and base notes dialed back.
I tried the new version of the original, which is needless to say, very very different. Fresh, earthy, spicy scent wrapped in dried tobacco leaves created for the MAN of the 70’s and 80’s, I used to wear more in cooler summer days. Whenever I get a new green juice scent first thing comes to mind is this Polo green. Don’t listen to the reviewers harping on and on about how superior previous versions are .
The product was a very easy-to-tell fake. The counterfeiters do not try to match details of the original product. Of course I returned the fake Polo, ralph lauren t shirt why would I want to keep a fake? The seller still has the Polo product advertised in eBay for cheap, which of course I won’t ever buy again.
I normally don´t like leather, but it´s not too much in this one. But it suits an older man best I think, so not quite for me yet. I have always perceived my grandpa as very classy.
I just adored it, it made me feel rich and powerful. I liked it so much I even wore it to bed. Mind blowing good, everyone wore it and the ladies liked it too. Besides it still holding my number one spot for classic male frags, this bottle remains undefeated. Simple, dignified, and to the point. This bottle and scent helped shape me as a man.
Ralph Lauren Polos are heavily hit by counterfeiters. This is the third counterfeit I have inadvertently purchased. In all of the fakes, the logo is poorly made, always the clear plastic of the logo sticker is visible.
Any alternate option for polo green ? I really love this fragrance but performance for me is disappointing, I currently have 2018 batch . I wore this infrequently ralph lauren t shirt in high school and only recently reacquired it. I loved it for its masculine juniper and pine as a child, and now I appreciate the subtle backbone of leather.
