This is sometimes the danger zone for me, if I have too much of this scratchiness in my throat – I can’t wear a fragrance, even though I may really like it. This is something to keep tabs on and see if this smooths out in the long run. Un Jardin En Mediterranee Hermès for women has a similar effect on me, as does White Linen and Azures by Estee Lauder, and the original Chloe.
That’s not to say it’s generic though, because it isn’t IMO. It just means it’s not girly or too mature – for those who like to attach ages to perfumes I’d say it would work for anyone late 20s to their 60s. Then, I don’t know why, polo dress shirts but I can smell some kind of ylang ylang, which I do not like. The hazelnut can be found in the dry down with a deep sniff and under a thick floral layer. This is too “perfumy” for me, almost giving me a hairspray/synthetic vibe.

It lasts for hours on my skin and there’s not single moment in its development over time that isn’t completely and utterly intoxicating. This perfume, for me, will be the apex of mainstream eau de parfum. I might have to come back to this later, since it is quite new . It is strange how some scents just grow on you. Woman by Ralph Lauren is for the classy, poised & young modern woman who embodies femininity but also has an androgynous side.
Some have mentioned a creamy tuberose and I wish I got more of that, or any! Very strong, so best sprayed sparingly in my opinion. Woman by Ralph Lauren is super fresh white floral. Good choice when you want to smell “crisp” all day. The fruit notes are more so for balance, so it doesn’t smell tropical or anything.
