Rhubarb is kind of a trendy note right now, and I like the tart edge it lends to Woman in the opening. Underneath that is a creamy and smooth bouquet of classic florals, with a buttery but clean tuberose as the main note. The hazelnut really comes out in the drydown, and it smells delicious, like it was sugared Polo Ralph Lauren t shirt and roasted. The pear gives the fragrance a slightly cooling edge. I’m not particularly fond of their fragrances for women, I tend to avoid fruity florals and aquatics but this is a much welcomed change. The base is smooth and creamy and provides a good backdrop for the pear and the black currant.
I love tuberose and it is quite prevalent in woman. The hazlenut gives this a sweetness along with pear. You would most likely smell this only on women 20+.
I think the target market for this is women 30-50ish but I’m 24 with a decent collection and I still love this. This perfume is so interesting, it is unlike any other perfume I have smelt. I was in the store trying to find something sweet and musky and this one just jumped at me more than any of the other ones I picked up. I think it’s the sandalwood that gives it something special.it’s floral but it is not sharp and it’s just so dreamy.
It smells incredibly -feminine-, and a little bit like a room full of hairspray and who-knows-what perfume, in a very good way. I don’t know if I want a bottle of it yet, but it conjured up some very fond memories for me. This is all tuberose on my skin with a really polo dress shirts sweet pear note. I do smell fruit, which could remind some of body spray or shampoo. It’s melded together perfectly with orange blossom and tuberose and hints of creamy-dreamy wood. A fragrance with simple, satisfying beauty, neither boring nor overly complex.
I also am reminded of Olympea by Paco Rabanne. Woman by Ralph Lauren is a pretty, very wearable fragrance that unfortunately doesn’t excite me in the slightest. It would make a good every-day scent, something to spritz on without having to think it over. It’s also very soft in regards to its projection so it is very unlikely that it will ever offend. Woman by Ralph Lauren is a clean, shampoo-type floral to my nose. It’s very feminine like the name suggests, however it’s not what I would consider a head-turning fragrance.
I just don’t love the opening scent, too cloyingly sweet. However not sure if it suit me I mean it is lovely and i love the scent but something about the smell makes me wanna puke. Rarely wear it but I do get compliment whenever I wear it. Beloved for their chic style, Polo Ralph Lauren clothing makes the ideal companion to any look. The label’s distinct cotton shirts are some of the most desired in the world and are often worn by our favorite It-girls.
After half an hour, sandalwood dominates with a peek of tuberose. From there, sandalwood and more woods with florals wave from afar. Sandalwood is overbearing for me after half an hour. Beautiful but no bottle in the future for me.
Black currant is very prominent to my nose, I kind of like it. Its mostly about strong white florals, I knew right away ralph lauren t shirt this has a tuberose, and in this scent, its a very creamy one. I would say its balances nicely with orange blossom.
