Fresh and bright citruses with a little bit of a sharp kick mixed in. Airy and bright spring/summer fragrance. Something in this upon first spray reminds me of the lemony wet wipes you are served at restaurants to freshen and wipe your hands.

I never gave a chance to any Lancome fragrances, since I dislike Tresor so much. When I sprayed my arm out of a sudden curiosity, I knew I found the Holy Grail of herbal perfumes. It’s completely green, loaded with delightful culinary herbs, just a pinch of refreshing citrus, and oooooh my–that oakmoss base! It’s not the kind of oakmoss that is suffocating in the style of the typical chypres of the 80’s, with all their headache-inducing resins and spices. It’s a different kind of oakmoss–one that is vibrant, green, and totally alive.

This is from the 1970 so goes a little while back in time. But a pleasent and light citrus fragrarance. I tried this on a test strip and my initial reaction was Estee Lauder NIGHT REPAIR no, I don’t like this. But after a few minutes I smelled the strip again and was like not so bad. The smell reminds me of an old woman and I don’t mind that.

The lasting power is average, around 7 hours. Nothing special, really, unless you want to smell like lemonade. If you like the nature, the citrus mood this is perfect to wear any time. This perfume is an absolute joy to wear anytime – fills me with happiness.

Lancôme has several top makeup artists representing it, Aaron De Mey and Sandy Linter. Sandy is Lancôme’s “Beauty At Every Age Expert”, and Aaron is Lancôme’s National Artistic Director for Makeup. Aaron De Mey is no longer the Artistic Director for Lancome.

From this I get mostly the bergamot, no other citruses, no florals really, and mostly the mossy/ vertiver/ ambergris dry down. It smells very vintage in a 60s kind of way, almost like Avon Moonwind? I like it, just not what I thought it would be based on the notes.
