The DW models are standard battery powered G-Shocks while GW models of the G-Shock come with either Tough Solar or Multi-Band atomic timekeeping or both. The GSW-H1000 comes with many of the features expected on a fitness-focused smartwatch. Note that this model doesn’t have a countdown timer, and there is no world time either. Other features include hourly time beep and an electric backlight. The Casio G-Shock Collection have been manufactured with the aim of creating a watch that is unbreakable.
