G Shock Mudmaster
His writing style is inspired by certain “British automotive journalists” and his own experiences growing up and living in a blue-collar society. For those on the road, the Quad sensors- compass, thermometer, altimeter/barometer, and step tracker – are other useful tools. The watch features a very bright illumination technology „Super-Illuminator” as Casio calls it, that can be activated with the touch of a button. The luminous coating on the hands and hour markers are very bright and will offer great readiness even in very dark environments. Casio have added a new high-end model to their G-Shock family, the great looking GWG-1000 Mudmaster. As with other G-Shock models the Mudmaster is shock-resistan, but is also constructed to resist mud and vibration so that it can be useful in a variety of harsh land environments, like the desert or mud.
To prevent dirt and water from getting into the case, Casio has used double rubber rings at the crown and pushers. G-Shock watches mostly share a basic set of features, with more involved and premium models building upon them. Stylistic elements aside, the differences between G-Shock families and models can largely be divided into durability and technology features.
The LCD screen at 6 o’clock is used for reading the sensor functions of this watch. A downside of the GWG-1000, however, is that the screen is quite small and can be easy to read. Fortunately, you have the light button which makes it a bit easier. You may also use the button to move the hands out of the way quite frequently. Another button, the last button, is positioned at 6 o’clock at the bottom of the bezel and is used for activating the light.
What I found to be somewhat frustrating is the fact that the alarm has no snooze option. This is a pretty minor thing compared to other more important features that the Sky Cockpit did get right but I thought it is important to highlight it. Remember g shock watch that this is a very appreciated watch that has been bought by thousands of people worldwide and until now it seems that most of them have good words about it. Although it’s great in most situations it has a drawback that I find to be frustrating.
Actually what i mean is that this noise is like a creak, not the normal beep noise that all buttons do when you press them. in general i find the mode button looser compared to the other ones. This is a great G-Shock for people who also want a sense of style from their multi-functional watch. The G-Shock Steel Smoke Dial comes with a new design that sets it apart from other G-Shocks. The metal casing and high-quality rubber band show from the start that Casio really was into designing a more stylish G-Shock with a modern feel.
His wrist is smaller than mine, probably by an inch, and it looks big on me. It’s almost silly when you’re sitting around drinking beer, but when the helmet and gloves go on, it looks right at home. I couldn’t find the specs on the crystal, but the bulky bezel does help protect it from the beating of limbs or rocks that might meet its surface. The crystal on this watch had a few marks on it signifying its service to the wearer and it wears them like a badge of honor. Its shiny surface looked as though it had been run across a belt sander on more than one occasion.
