Casio Black G Shock Ga 100

200M/20ATM indicates the degree of water resistance standardized by ISO 6425. ISO tests include temperature changes, depth, pressure for different times under rest and during manipulation with the operative part of the watch. The dive models, subsequently performs the test of resistance to salt water and the ability to cope with the watch positive pressure . A unique design that eliminates the adverse effects of mechanical impact, vibration and shock, thus ensuring a high mechanical resistance of watches. Simply enter the distance you want to go and start the stopwatch. At the end of the measured distance stopwatch stops and the display shows the average speed of the distance you traveled.

These guards add much to the watch’s rugged appearance, make it look bigger. I personally like this designing style, because the guards actually lend some points of interest to the case, a round-face resin watch would look too childish without these guards. When it comes to men’s outfits, black is always the coolest & most approachable color. That’s why this GA 100-1A1 outsells other variations with different color schemes.

This watch can work with minimal or minor deviations in the conditions of the magnetic field. As the Casio GA 100 is a digital watch, it’s highly accurate. You just have to set it once every 4 months at max, because it only runs off about 15 seconds per month.

Jewelry Unlimited has no intention of violating an intellectual property or trademark laws. The fact that the hour hand in half the size of the minute hand makes it easier to read just by glancing at it. The lack of second hand is a plus for me, because it eliminates the ticking sound. The popular G-SHOCK three-dial face design incorporates one analog dial in the center, with digital dials on either side. I was really hoping to be impressed with this product and I am not.

However, the digital display can only be clearly seen upright (it’s the nature of negative display) and the reflective crystal reduces its legibility in outdoor use a lot. I looked for something even more legible and went with the GAX 100 series in black. It adds a tide/moon and temp feature which I was looking forward to using on a trip to the coast, plus the dial is highly contrasting with the negative display and very much in the Dive watch motif. I have a Casio compass digital watch which is nice, but a lower angles the digits are lost due to the polarizing fields characteristics. The analog watches can be much more legible at those low angles which can be an advantage.

I quickly fell in love with the Atomic / Solar of this watch. Here I am one year later, and I bought the famed GW 5000. The funny thing is, the GW-M530A is just as useful if not more useful due to the second time zone on the same screen. This model is often overlooked because it doesn’t look “cool”, but in all other ways, it just works. I wear it doing everything because I’m not afraid to make it any uglier.

Wish the digital display was a little brighter while wearing it inside but overall I’m happy with the great look of the watch. I was looking for an atomic timekeeping watch, in the description, this is not. However, after I corrected the time, it’s dead-on accurate. I really like that it’s entirely black except for the hands, makes it super easy to read at a glance.

Why do you suppose Casio bothered to lume the dial spots but NOT the hands? It then has to be asked, how did the Navy read a watch on the bridge at night before EL? I suspect they got along with some other workaround for quite a few centuries. We have only been using wrist watches since WWI and with the abolition of radium in the 60’s some other method had to be improvised. Having a positive display does make it more easy to read them but heightens the contrast in the background and makes the hands and markers less legible.
