Amd Ryzen 5 3600 3 6ghz 6
In late 2020, AMD debuted the fourth-generation of Ryzen-based Desktop CPUs including the high-end Ryzen 9 processor. AMD’s latest line of processors are primed to compete against Intel’s current Core i3, i5, i7 and i9 offering. For a more focused look at how the Ryzen 9 changes things for AMD, check out this review. 3DMark Time Spy is a popular and effective benchmarking tool for rating gaming performance.
The Ryzen 5000 series processors come as four models that span from six cores and twelve threads up to 16 cores and 32 threads. AMD increased its Precision Boost clock rates across the board, with a peak of 4.9 GHz for the Ryzen X. The Nvidia GeForce GTX 1650 isn’t exactly the latest GPU to have on your laptop.
Effective speed is adjusted by current prices to yield a value for money rating. Our calculated values are checked against thousands gigabyte gtx 1060 3gb of individual user ratings. The customizable table below combines these factors to bring you the definitive list of top CPUs.
Eight cores and 16 threads make easy work of most tasks thrown at the CPU, and it’s unlocked for additional headroom should you have adequate cooling. Much like the Core i7 Intel processors, the Ryzen 7 family gtx 1090 may be overkill for most people, but it allows for advanced computing at a somewhat affordable price point. If you happen to have a capable GPU, you may find some benefit in picking up a Ryzen 7 CPU.
That being said, it’s a tried and tested card and we know exactly the kind of performance it offers for these mainstream laptops that are priced competitively. Lenovo Legion series of laptops is one of the best sellers on the mainstream market. These laptops are primarily known for delivering solid performance numbers onboard for a relatively cheaper price. The Lenovo Legion 5 is the one we are checking out right now and it is considered to be one of the best gaming notebooks in terms of value.
The Ryzen 5 chips make digital audio workstation performance more accesible than similarly-priced Intel parts, and that’s a major win for AMD. However, the Core i7-6800K’s total dominance of these tests suggests the Ryzen parts could do with more memory bandwidth to play with. At the punishing buffer size of 64, the older and lower-clocked chips in our lineup can’t handle the VI test at all. The Ryzen X redeems gigabyte gtx 1060 3gb itself nicely over the i5-7500, and the Core i7-7700K only barely edges by the Ryzen s. The Core i7-6800K turns in a freakishly good performance here, though, and we can only presume that’s because of its scads of memory bandwidth compared to every other chip in our lineup. In the CPU-only phase of our testing, performance scales as expected with cores and threads, save for the Core i7-6800K’s surprise win.
The CPU has a base clock of 3.0GHz and it can hit a turbo frequency of 4.0Ghz. As you can see, the CPU was able to hit the turbo frequency without any issues throughout the Cinebench R23 test. The Lenovo Legion 5 that we received for testing is priced at just Rs 67,900 on Amazon. This is an AMD-powered unit, however, Lenovo also sells variants that are powered by Intel Core processors. Our test unit is powered by an AMD Ryzen H which is a Hexa-core CPU with 12 threads.
