It’s less narrow than Uppababy Vista (on paper it’s the same but with the wheels and sizes Evenflo wagon is slightly smaller), which means it fits through the door. Officially, Evenflo Pivot Xplore Wagon Stroller has a height limit in addition to a weight limit and it’s only 39″. Which is basically my toddler’s height at 2.5 years because he’s tall. He can squeeze underneath the canopy but it’s not great and even the baby who’s currently 30″ tall fits, but it gets flimsy when he’s got a hat on.
There are cup holders all around the wagon. There is also a movable/removable storage bin that can be placed in the front or evenflo car seat and stroller back of the wagon (or taken off all together). Cat Bowen has been writing about all things parenting for well over a decade.
Each seat holds up to 55 lbs, and 120 lbs total weight with cargo. You can also purchase a car seat adapter to allow it to be used from birth. I’m unsure though if you could still fit a child in the wagon with the infant seat installed. For the last year or so I’ve been noticing the “stroller wagons” popping up here and there. I also love that you can use them for kids AND for stuff if the kids want to walk, or if they are older.
Now, to be honest, I have not used the other two main brands. It’s also $600, and that was a bit steep for me. The Keenz was a better evenflo car seat and stroller price at under $400, but since I already own a double City Select stroller, it seemed like a LOT of money for kids gear.
Most people will rave about the storage on a wagon… which is accurate if you buy a gigantic Wonderfold with 4 seats for just 2 kids, but with Evenflo there’s basically not much storage. The handle shifts it between a pull wagon and a push stroller. Overall is collapses to about the same size as our full-size stroller, but is much easier to manipulate when both kids are on it. Evenflo wagon is incredibly easy it is to fold. Just push two buttons and it folds and fits.
To unlock it, you apply pressure to the tabs located at the base of each handle and free it. It can easily be done with one person, but you will need both hands free to do it, so I always do it once I have put my baby in the seat. Admittedly, before I owned a baby wagon stroller, I had no idea that such a parenting product even existed. But as it would turn out, it’s all three, and so much more. As long as you’re here, allow us to introduce ourselves.
These were the top two performing 2-seater wagons in our testing and we recommend both of them. The Xplore is significantly less expensive but the Veer has rugged construction not found in any other stroller wagon. The Pivot Xplore is the only stroller wagon we tested with a separate brake pedal on each rear wheel. All the other wagons had a single pedal that braked both wheels.
Seriously you guys, give me all of the storage. Not only do I love that there are two but they are extremely adjustable. You can move them from the back all the way to the front.
