This model comes with a three-cup food processor attachment, a slicing and shredding disc, and a chopping blade. This 6.5-pound model has a gunmetal plastic base and a surprisingly quiet 600-watt motor. The dial interface is easy to use, offering high, low, and pulse but no presets or smart programming. This model includes a small 32-ounce Tritan blending pitcher, as well as two 16-ounce travel cups with lids, four reusable straws, and two interchangeable blade assemblies.
This powerful performer features pre-programmed ice crush and smoothie controls, low and high blending speeds and a convenient pulse function. Its generous 56-ounce durable plastic jar features a tight-seal lid, soft-touch handle, and a 2-oz. Electronic touchpad provides easy selection for all options. With the cups, the smoothie setting made a great drink, but for the pesto it was a little more difficult to gauge how long to blend.
Though this machine can function as a food processor and a blender, it’s not amazing at either task. Inconveniently, the cups can’t be stacked, so the accessories will take up quite a bit of space in your kitchen. The motor isn’t powerful or durable enough for heavy-duty or frequent blending, so this model may not last very long, and the small capacity won’t work well for blending large quantities. The king of all the personal blenders we tried, the Zwilling Enfinigy is stylish, slimly designed, and high-powered. With 500 watts of power, it blew away the competition and provided the best small-scale blending and drinking experiences.
If you’re particularly sensitive to noise, you may prefer the quieter operation of an immersion blender or one with a less powerful motor. The second power consideration is the motor’s wattage or horsepower level. A one-horsepower motor has cuisinart soup maker the equivalent of about 746 watts of power. A motor with over one horsepower will be able to handle blending tougher materials like ice and frozen fruit. If you mostly blend softer ingredients, you may not need such a powerful motor.

If you plan on handling heavy-duty tasks like making nut butter, crushing ice, and grinding grains on a regular basis, the price and size of this blender will pay off. Buy the Cuisinart Hurricane Pro if you don’t mind the heavy base.
It features simple controls with an on/off switch, a high/variable switch, and a dial for varying the power level yourself. It has no extra buttons or specialized settings—but we didn’t miss them. This is just a straightforward, extremely efficient, high-performance blender packing a ton of power. The motor isn’t powerful enough to handle heavy blending, and the carving knife is too long and bulky to be useful or easy to store. The 500-watt motor isn’t very powerful and may burn out quickly, and the blending capacity is small, so you won’t be able to efficiently blend large quantities.
