Unfortunately, if you’re taking calls in even moderately noisy environments like an office, the person on the other line may have difficulties hearing you too. On the upside, these headphones have an ANC system that can help block out some noise while you’re on a call. With Fast Fuel, a quick 10-minute charge provides 3 hours of playback.
All of this has allowed Curacao to build a unique relationship with its customers and their communities. Gone are the days when Beats were purely ‘all about dat bass.’ The Studio3 has a more grown-up sound signature than its forebears. That’s not to say that it doesn’t have some punch, but the emphasis is more on the higher end of the bass spectrum, rather than the lower and sub-bass frequencies. This works well in some situations but falls down in others.
The device has an option to mute/unmute a conversation directly from the device. An indicator shows you when the device has low battery. Devices with a higher sound pressure level are generally louder when supplied with any given audio source. Foldable devices are easier to transport and take up less storage space.
The headphones weigh 260gm and it feels heavy on the head when used for around ~45 minutes. This is not the headphones that you might be planning to get for your workout sessions. The controls on the 3.5mm cable come with soft-touch buttons with tactile feedback. You can control Volume/next/previous and everything you could imagine. The sound delay is pretty common in many Bluetooth earphones/headphones but this is not acceptable from Premium Class of headphones and from a brand like Beats. After Apple acquired Beats, Apple revamped The beats solo pro wireless headphones and now it comes with Apple W1 Chip which is the same chip that comes in Apple AirPods.
The Sennheiser can connect to two devices simultaneously and can be used passively, which you can’t do with the Beats. The Beats Studio3 Wireless and the Sony WH-XB910N Wireless are similarly performing headphones. However, the Sony have a better noise isolation performance, their sound profile is customizable using their companion app’s graphic EQ and presets, and they support multi-device pairing. The Beats Studio3 Wireless are better headphones than the Beats Solo Wireless. The Studio3 are over-ear headphones that are more comfortable and have a good-performing ANC feature.
We didn’t experience any muddiness, but we also didn’t feel like the notes were crystal clear. As for soundstage, which we usually devote an entire section to, we can’t say much. Like the vocals, the soundstage exists, but it’s not something to call home about. Overall, we’ve never felt so indifferent or uninspired by a product’s sound. These Bluetooth-only headphones aren’t compatible with the Xbox One or Xbox Series X
What’s more, all of this is available for a relatively competitive price. It’s amazing this enviable reproduction of sound is available in the convenient form of a pair of headphones. A quick play of “Stairway to Heaven” by Led Zeppelin once again convinces, with a clean stereo image and wide stage. The battery life of the Studio3 Wireless, like the overall product, is middling. At full volume, you can only expect roughly 10 hours of playback, and 23 at half volume. If you’re someone who enjoys really pumping up the tunes, then these won’t last you a full day, and definitely not a transatlantic flight.
This improves the Bluetooth connection with an iOS device, such as seamless pairing, more robust connection, extended range, and better battery life. This is much nicer than some of the leading noise-cancelling true wireless earbuds can provide. Take calls, skip songs, control volume and activate Siri using the convenient multi-function on-ear controls. The Apple W1 chip features Class 1 Bluetooth connectivity – the industry-leading classification for range and signal strength.
That way it can remove heavy sounds like the engine of a plane or train. It lets you focus on the music, and the music is all that you’re presented with. On lower volume tracks, or with no music playing and ANC on, you will hear some white noise. I’m revising my earlier prejudgements about Beats headphones.
The Beats Studio3 Wireless are slightly better headset than the Beats Solo3 Wireless thanks to noise cancellation. The Studio3 isolate a bit better in noisy conditions, which makes them a better option for commute and travel than the Solo3. They also have a more comfortable over-ear design that most may prefer over the on-ear fit of the Solo3. The Solo3, on the other hand, are a bit more compact and have a much better battery life than the Studio variant.
