Keurig K-Mini Plus Review

The coffee machines have identical brew units with a needle that pierces the K-Cup and injects water into the grounds. As well as coffee options, you can also brew tea, hot cocoa, and other gorgeous beverages. There are many K-Cup varieties, so whichever drink you want, you can probably find it. As the dimensions above reveal, the machines are incredibly compact, while they each weigh just 4.6lbs, too. Therefore, they’re ideal for even the smallest countertop space.

Of course, this means the water tank will need refilling with each brew. This is one of the main differences between these smaller machines and other Keurig machines with a multi-cup water reservoir. brews a perfectly satisfying cup of coffee. Though there’s no big fanfare or sophistication in flavors, K-Mini can do its job well. Further, the brewing process is extremely simple, easy and convenient. Keurig K-Mini seems to be reasonably priced given the features, technology and design.

The fact that the one-cup reservoir is removable is one of the features that separates the K-Mini Plus from the K-Mini. While it might seem like a small thing, the removable Cuisinart Coffee water reservoir adds significantly to the user-friendliness of this model. It makes it easier to refill, but even more importantly, it makes it much easier to clean.

It has an energy-efficient auto off feature that powers it down just 90 seconds after brewing, so you’re never wasting excess power. Better yet, the matte black casing of the K-Mini is now made Hamilton Beach from 30% recycled plastic. Keurig is partnering with industry experts to incorporate more recycled materials into its manufacturing, so expect this to be just the beginning of a larger trend.

First “cleaning” brew & first cup of coffee was fine, then it failed to empty the water reservoir completely for the second cup. Several test runs were irrational; some brewed, others didn’t. Meanwhile, the K-Mini Plus brews between six and 12oz of coffee, determined by how much water you pour in the tank. This affects the overall flavor because the K-Slim cannot brew less than 8oz and doesn’t have the “Strong Brew” function.
