If your Sun Joe pressure washer is still pulsating, the pump could be the reason. Sometimes, the air gets trapped in the pump that causes the water pressure to pulsate. The first reason to check if your Sun Joe pressure washer is pulsating is a restricted water flow. This can be a lower amount of water arriving at your pressure washer.
The SunJoe rolls around very well thanks to its 7.5-inch wheels. In combination with its low weight and an ergonomic handle, it’s one of the easiest machines to move that we’ve gotten our hands on. To calculate GPM, we filled a bucket without a nozzle tip for 30 seconds. The Sun Joe SPX 3000Pressure Washerdispensed 7.5 pounds of water. Our test, therefore, shows a backyard GPM of 1.81 GPM. Plus, every SPX3000 XTREAM purchased through this special TV Offer comes backed with a special 3-year extended warranty, ensuring reliable performance you can count on season after season.
It is ultra-light compared to other pressure washers and the SPX3500, weighing at a mere 28.2 pounds. Additionally, it has a set of 7.5-inch wheels to make it easier to roll around wherever you need it. One of the most important metrics to consider before purchasing an electric pressure washer is “PSI,” which stands for pounds per square inch.
It’s uncertain whether the original SPX3000 will be completely replaced by the XTREAM version, but as of now, both are still for sale. All Sun Joe pressure washers are made in China, including the SPX3000. We’ve seen some customers complain about manufacturing defects, but none of the issues are common enough to cause concern. There is also a garden hose adapter which makes it very simple to go from one job to the next. The pulsation in the outlet pressure of your Sun Joe pressure washer can also occur because of water leaking from the pump.
Other than the cord storage, this unit was easy to pack up. The gun and wand easily fit on the side and do not need to be disassembled. The only other complaint we have is that this is a big and tall unit that will take up a good amount of space in your garage or shed.
Hi John – You could use any branded extension hose with the correct thread and the stop system will still work. Ten to fifteen years ago, Karcher, a German company, was head-and-shoulders above anyone else in quality and power. But these units are no longer made in Germany but in Mexico, although I don’t think you can blame the quality control on Mexico, as surely they’re still designed in Germany. It’s a heavy unit at 44 lbs, but it has dual wheels so it’s okay if you just want to park it up. After questioning the sales rep, we found that any fittings such as the hose had to be AR Blue Clean. That is, it’s not attached to the trolley in any way and this was really annoying.
The SPX3000 and SPX3000 XTREAM both offer onboard storage that allows you to neatly keep the accessories you need at hand. With a maximum reachable pressure of 2200 PSI, the Sun Joe SPX3000 XTREAM provides a slightly higher force to blast off dirt and grime than the 2030 PSI of the Sun Joe SPX3000. The Sun Joe SPX3000 and the Sun Joe SPX3000 XTREAM both use an axial-type pump to put water under pressure. The Sun Joe SPX3000’s pump is powered by a 14.5-amp motor, while the Sun Joe SPX3000 XTREAM uses a 13-amp motor. Therefore, even though the Sun Joe SPX3000 has a lower pressure rating, its higher water flow makes it the superior unit.
I used the direct spray tips to pulverize the grime off the concrete and to remove some paint that had been on the pavement for decades. Champion Power Equipment In the photo below, you can see how I could write my name in the grime. A pressure washer has been on my wish list for a while.
