Truck Tires Goodyear

In 2023, Goodyear will celebrate its 125-year anniversary by continuing to deliver the products and services that move the world. Goodyear or its authorized reseller retains all right, title, goodyear truck tires and interest in and to the ordered products until the products and/or services have been installed. It is impossible to predict when a tire should be replaced based on its calendar age alone.

Only specially trained persons should mount, demount and repair Run-Flat tires, and more than 40 psi (270 kPa) may be required to seat beads. A safety cage and clip-on extension air hose must be used if more than 40 psi (270kPa) is needed to seat beads. Goodyear is one of the world’s largest tire companies. It employs about 74,000 people and manufactures its products in 57 facilities in 23 countries around the world. Its two Innovation Centers in Akron, Ohio, and Colmar-Berg, Luxembourg, strive to develop state-of-the-art products and services that set the technology and performance standard for the industry.

In response to increased usage of electric vehicles in parts of the industry, Goodyear last year introduced its first commercial truck tire with “Electric Drive Ready” designation, Endurance RSA ULT. In 2022, Goodyear also expanded its line of ElectricDrive tires built for passenger and high-performance vehicles to cover 44% more battery electric vehicles operating in the U.S., the company said. Do not attempt to mount or demount Run-Flat tires yourself; serious injury or death could result.

The Goodyear and Dunlop Run-Flat tires can be driven up to 50 miles (80 km) at sustained speeds of up to 50 mph (80 kph) at low or zero air pressure. However, the tire may have to be replaced if driven to these limits. To help prolong the life of a tire operating under low-inflation conditions, drive at a speed as far below 50 mph (80 kph) as possible. Also, drive the shortest distance possible before obtaining tire service. Taking these precautions will increase the chance that your tire will be repairable. RangeMax RSDEV is the newest addition to Goodyear’s EV tire portfolio.

If you experience an issue with your tires, it may be covered under our tire-replacement limited warranty. The Highway Auto and Light Truck Tire Replacement Limited Warranty covers all Goodyear, Dunlop, and Kelly passenger tires. A tire covered by this limited warranty will be replaced with a comparable new tire either free of charge or for a prorated amount, with eligibility based on set treadwear and time limitations. A “comparable” new Goodyear, Dunlop or Kelly tire will be the same brand tire and may be either the same line of tire or, in the event that the tire is not available, the same brand tire with the same basic construction and similar performance attributes with a different sidewall or tread configuration.

From new tires to an oil change, to battery replacement, the Goodyear Tire & Service Network skilled technicians will help repair and maintain your vehicle. The speed rating tells you the maximum speed capability of the tire when properly inflated. Choosing a tire with an equal or greater speed rating than the original equipment tire is generally recommended. Although no widely accepted scientific research exists to show that chronological aging alone adversely affects a tire, and if so, how those effects occur, over what time period, etc., the longer a tire is in service, the more opportunities there are for it to be exposed to adverse environmental or service conditions. Therefore, the older a tire the greater the chance that it will need to be replaced due to service-related or storage conditions. Owner operators and small fleets can now access discounts that are typically reserved for larger fleets.
