You can switch between three modes (eco, normal, and max) and watch in awe as it transitions easily between carpets and floors. It is quite expensive, and there’s no spot on the base for the mop, which dyson robot vacuum is frustrating. It’s also not amazing at avoiding small items—it bumps into the cat’s water dish constantly—but if you make sure to pick things up ahead of time, like socks and cords, you’ll be golden.
Without edge cleaning, there’s always a little strip of floor along the walls, cabinets, or appliances that doesn’t get properly cleaned. If you don’t have pets or messy housemates, that may not be an issue, but the edges of the room are often where pet hair and random kitchen debris (in my house it’s usually wayward kosher salt crystals) accumulate the most. It’s a powerful vacuum with more suction power than a Dyson, but you are paying extra for the dynamic suction so if that’s not a big deal for you it’s worth looking at its predecessor too, which has every other key feature. But this is a superb device that doesn’t take up tons of space and punches way above its size and price tag.
What’s great about this vacuum is that it also turns into a hand vacuum for harder-to-reach places. We love that this comes with a wall mount and crevice tool to make storage and cleaning easier. This vacuum has an angled floorhead for better pickup and works on multiple surfaces.

Plus, it propels itself during use so we had to put little effort into pushing 21.5 lb vacuum around when testing it. We found that the full power setting was on a par with our resident corded vacuum, and on the lowest speed setting worked brilliantly on hard floors.
Robot vacuums are ideal for people who want a hands-off cleaning experience, and they usually come with helpful apps you can use to schedule cleanings, set up a house map, and more. They tend to be pricey, though, and may still require some manual help if they get stuck in corners or on objects. The best part about this vacuum, though, is its no-touch disposable canister, which allows you to get rid of the pads without having to handle the mess yourself. That canister isn’t the largest, it should be noted, and of course, you’ll need to purchase pad refills often if you plan to use the vacuum regularly. But putting those downsides aside, this is a strong vacuum that’s especially great for small spaces where you want a two-in-one tool.
The vacuum also has up to 40 minutes of run-time in standard mode, and it’s anti-allergenic thanks to a HEPA filter that traps dust and allergens inside the cleaner. While this may seem like a lot, vacuuming this regularly will ensure there is less dust to suck up each time, making cleaning your floors a quicker process. We recommend vacuuming most floors once a week while increasing this to twice a week in high-traffic areas such as hallways and doorways.
