3 Best Ozark Trail Tents of 2022 for Large Families & Queen Mattresses

We figured out that the rain was coming in where there was a mesh netting on the top part of the tent, which is covered by a nylon tarp that covers the entire tent. There is no amount of sealer that would fix that problem. Needless to say we are very, very unhappy with this tent. They may look unnecessary with so many windows and the ceiling with mesh, but if you have long intervals with rain, all the panels must be closed and the tent may become a less pleasant place.

Finally, there’s a protected power port that you can run an extension cord through. If you’re anywhere near a generator and rely on power throughout the night, you won’t have to worry about leaving your electronics exposed to the elements while they charge. The inside of the tent features integrated storage compartments ozark trail tents sewn into the sidewalls. They’re big enough for a phone and a couple of toiletries, but nothing major. The only issue with the pockets is they’re located along the sidewalls of the tent. If you should need to access anything during the night and aren’t next to your pocket, you’ll be reaching across quite a few bodies.

But, maybe you’re wondering, what makes a great tent brand? This tent is heavy (near 50 lbs), but for all of its size, it’s not that bad. You might be wondering what’s it like to set up this tent.

It’s a great way to get started as they are so affordable. I love this as it keeps camping one of the most affordable vacations you can take, even if you need supplies to start. Their tents start at as low as just $29.97 for 3 people and $39 for 4 people tents! Plus there are some super deals on easy set up tents and family size tents too. My personal favorite Ozark Trail tent is the 12-person, 3-room instant cabin tent. It provides a ton of space in an easy-to-carry package that sets up in minutes AND provides three rooms that give the entire gang loads of space to spread out.

I don’t understand why they write on the tent bag “GOBY DRY stay dry system”. Did they test the super GOBY DRY SYSTEM”??? If it’s the case, it was surely during sunny days. I just wish the material were made as the old tents. I would love to own another tent by Ozark Trail but am not looking forward to paying that and then wake up getting rained upon. It ruined the vacation and some of us now have colds we’re trying to break.
