With multiple cooking features, innovative technology, automatic shut off, thirty minute timer, and a spacious interior, this was an amazing option at an affordable price. A black pan can be used for roasting, baking, or catching drippings when using the rotisserie. A smaller silver pan and a coordinating broiler rack can be used for roasting small foods as well as for baking.
And then I also like to wipe down a bit with a paper towel to make sure there’s no left over grease or oil on it. Durability

I like the black and silver design of the toaster, because it’s simple/chic, and goes with hamilton beach everything else in my kitchen. The design of the knobs and the settings is more complicated then most toaster ovens, which is fine with me. I still find it easy to use, and because there are more settings you can do more things with it then just a basic plain toaster over.
Once your toaster is up and running, we recommend that you empty the crumb tray often. To keep grease from dripping on the lower heating element, use foil and a pan underneath whatever you’re cooking. We recognize that for some, a level of automation could prove helpful, so we’ll continue to test smart ovens. But we haven’t yet tested one where the features feel worth the investment for most people.
The bottom of the oven acts as a detachable crumb tray which not only makes it easy to remove the falling bits and crumbs but also to clean the entire interior. Some hamilton beachs have preset programs for common foods, such as bagels and pizza. These are especially useful when you’re new to the world of toaster ovens and aren’t sure of the cooking times for your favorite foods. The majority of Hamilton Beach toaster ovens have simple dial controls, but some high-end models have touchpad controls with a digital display.
Additionally, as a Japanese appliance, the Panasonic FlashXpress is designed around degrees Celsius for temperature input. There’s a converted-to-Fahrenheit selector on the temperature indicator, but the markings are oddly spaced. You can hamilton beach toaster oven get either 425 °F or 390 °F, but nothing in between (we chose 390 °F). But this idiosyncrasy didn’t negatively impact any of the items we cooked—most toaster ovens heat at least 10 to 15 degrees over or under the set temperature anyway.
