As one of the longest-standing bicycle companies, Schwinn signified influence and innovation amidst a biking craze that further catapulted its success. Thus by the 1990s, Schwinn had declared bankruptcy and Giant went on to make generate $380 million in annual sales, making it the world’s largest bicycle manufacturer.
