The XQ5 premium motor is our standard outdoor shade motor. These are radio controlled with built in radio receiver. If you need to reset the motor you will have to press a button on the motor head itself, so it’s not recommended for hard to reach areas. The power cord & plug come separate to cut to the appropriate length. XQ5 motor doesn’t have an antenna in the cord, so the cord can be cut as short as needed. It’s not recommended to put motors any closer together than 19″, instead place them on opposite ends.
