Aside from switching out the tanks, you can just sit back and relax while it hustles around your room doing all the work for you. It’s a great maintenance cleaner, first vacuuming hard floors and area rugs to remove surface dust, then scrubbing hard floors to get them clean and shiny. In our tests, it cleaned hardwood and tile floors thoroughly getting all the way up to the tight corners and picking up pet hair and dry debris we didn’t even know was there. BISSELL is an American manufacturer of vacuum cleaners and floor care appliances.
The main differences are the higher voltage on the battery and a few more included tools. Not having a cord to deal with has been great, not only for my kids but for me too! Cordless vacuums are lightweight, convenient and easy to maneuver. From Dyson and Samsung to Tineco and Shark, here are the top models on the market bissell cordless vacuum today. Jamie (she/her) is a parenting and pets reviews analyst at the Good Housekeeping Institute, where she spends her time testing, researching and writing about pet and family products. Prior to starting at GH in 2021, she worked at BuzzFeed and People, covering a combination of product reviews and lifestyle content.
Now, in 2023, it’s available for $260 or less, if you catch it on sale (we’ve seen it fall below $200 pretty regularly in recent months). That makes it more of a value pick — and as value picks go, it’s one of your best options. If you’re sick of lingering pet hair, the Bissell ICONpet cordless vacuum was built for you. So easy to use, my children may begin moonlighting as housekeepers. Like its cousin the ICONPet, the ICONPet Pro is designed to take care of all of your household shedding concerns with a tangle-free brush roller, lay-flat design, and LED lights. It can convert into a handheld or high-reach vacuum and comes with four different tool attachments (a motorized TurboBrush tool, LED-lighted crevice tool, pet dusting brush, and flexible crevice tool).
This vacuum is definitely better for cleaning smaller spaces, especially since the battery needs to be fully charged before each use. It includes a small brush head for cleaning upholstery or stairs, and features LED lights on the front of the main and crevice tools for hard-to-spot hairballs. The ICONPet performs best on hard flooring and low-pile carpets, offering a price in line with its value. Apart from being a strong performer in our pet hair tests, the A11 Hero was near bissell cordless vacuum flawless on hardwood floors, vacuuming up 97% of sand and 98% of black rice. It finished just outside the top 5 on low-pile carpet, removing a respectable 83% of sand and a near-perfect 99% of black rice — and every vacuum that did better in that test costs hundreds more. With all of those extra fibers for dirt to cling to, mid-pile carpet was more of a struggle, as the A11 Hero’s sand score fell to 73%, but it still nailed the black rice test, sucking up 98% of the stuff.

The Dyson and Tineco models all have bin volumes of about 0.6 liter, which is fairly common across the category. Our alternate budget pick, the Moosoo XL-618, has double that capacity (1.3 liters) so you’ll need to empty the bin less often. The circuit board inside the vacuum’s battery pack can overheat and smoke, posing a fire hazard. As with all our reviews the Bissell ICONpet has been tested first-hand in our home, using it just as you would so you know exactly what you are buying. With your purchase of BISSELL products, BISSELL Pet Foundation helps bring furry family members home.
For a home with multiple types of flooring, I’ve gotta say, this vacuum cleaner has been great! You can go from carpet to hard flooring and back and forth without batting an eye. You don’t even have to change any settings or attachments (although you can if desired, more on that later). Meanwhile, the Tineco Pure One S11 is the only cordless vacuum in the top 5 of our sand tests that retails for less than $500.
