Razor Electric Scooters

Consumers should stop using recalled products immediately unless otherwise instructed. It is illegal to resell or attempt to resell a recalled consumer product. I’m Josh and I’m the Founder of Electric Scooter Insider. I’ve made it my mission to help people, like you, seamlessly find and choose the right electric scooter.

It was a bit difficult to get back on track, but doable and this fixed our problem. The Razor E Prime III Electric Scooter is the most robust electric mode of transport I’ve used so far. It’s made by the brand that made tiny folding scooters popular over the past decade in the biggest way – Razor. As such, we expect that we’ll have at least the quality we’ve come to expect from the main line. It did not immediately crumble under my weight, but its electric drive system probably wouldn’t have performed at its full potential.

Like the E100, this scooter is fitted with a chain-driven motor. The only downside we see in all three e-scooters is the lead-acid battery that takes around 8-12 hours to charge. The small LED screen isn’t fancy but gives you a good readout of your speed and battery life. There are three speed modes, though I never used anything but the highest speed mode. And the motor braking in the rear wheel is surprisingly powerful.

The chain-driven wheel is powered by a high torque 100-watt motor that provides up to 40 minutes of continuous use at speeds up to 10 mph. The Razor E100 is a pretty sweet, smooth ride for younger kids that are jumping at the chance to ride an electric scooter. With a front air tire, it rolls more smoothly than the E90 which has a polyurethane front wheel, but not as smooth as the E200 which has a front and rear air tire. razor hoverboards We do love the added safety of the kick-start motor that requires a child to push off and be moving at 3 mph before the motor kicks in. The Razor E200 electric scooter has all the features that parents want and everything that kids crave in a scooter. The all-steel frame and fork make this ride strong and durable to the point that your child will probably outgrow this scooter before it has any structural problems.

The only immediate giveaway that this isn’t the same as the scooter gathering dust in your parent’s attic is that the wheels look much larger. The shiny aluminum deck, colorful wheels, minimalist foot brake, and folding stem all harken back to the scooting days of yesteryear. Please allow 3-10 business days for your order to arrive.

In fact, you may find yourself using the rear foot brake for more gentle stops, since the motor braking comes on quite strong. This scooter has a 250-watt electric motor that propels it at speeds as fast as 15 mph. The seat post and cushion are razor hoverboards removable so you can transition to a ride-on scooter. The handlebar and headtube fold for carriage when a quick release latch is opened. The real comparison should be between the various electric scooters we’ve tested over the past few years.
