Cruise Control and Safety Mode cannot be used at the same time. Every other scooter requires a child to keep the throttle engaged the entire time they are riding, which can quickly get tiring. When set in Cruise Control mode, once the max speed razor scooter is reached, it will stay there until the child engages the hand brake. When the hand brake is engaged, the motor shuts down until the child kicks off the ground to re-activate it. One of our fan favorites is our Power Core 90 Electric Scooter.
If you’re not a fan of the stand-up style that most electric scooters deliver, then the Razor Pocket Mod Bellezza Euro-style Electric Scooter is a solid option for getting around town this spring. Delivering a seated experience with a 16 MPH top speed, this electric scooter goes for up to 70 minutes on a razor hoverboards single charge. With no gas or oil required to function, this scooter will help you get around town this spring without having to use your traditional vehicle. On sale right now for $656, you’re also saving $104 from its normal going rate and scoring the best deal that we’ve seen since back in December.
If you stick to pavement, it’s a pretty smooth ride, and the soft seat was an added bonus for young bums. The brakes offer great stopping power, and there’s a small storage compartment under the seat that could fit a cell phone, keys, and a snack. Faster than its little brother the E8, the Ninebot ZING E10 has a 10 mph max and a razor electric scooter higher handlebar, best for kids at least 8 years old and 4’3 tall. All other features are identical, and you can read about those above. In full disclosure, we did not test this 3 wheel electric scooter for kids. We’re including it here as the only option we could find for parents looking for an electric scooter for toddlers.
The overall build quality of the scooter, the good balance of performance and safety, the handlebar height, the weight limit, and all of its features are designed for the younger teenager. My family thought this would be a fun way to explore the Tacoma waterfront. The scooter failed part way through the trip (with plenty of battery). Customer service on the app was a worthless BOT and I could not end my ride to stop the per-minute charges until I drug the 40 lb scooter a half mile back to the parking area. After requesting a refund, Razor service was rude and only offered a refund as a “one time courtesy” because of how long it took me to drag their garbage back to the parking lot. The 250-watt lithium-ion battery pack powers this scooter at speeds up to 15.5 mph with an 18-mile range on a single charge.
After getting stranded, walked to find a bird and it was night and day! Fix your scooters, the lack of maintenance is going to ruin your business. After unboxing the E100 Glow, Razor’s smallest scooter, I had it assembled in minutes using the included hex wrench. I snagged its charger from the box, found the port on the side of the E100, and plugged it in.
