Evenflo Shyft DualRide Rear Facing Only Car Seat Review Car Seats For The Littles

I read all the instructions before installing in my car, and it was still hard to know if I was doing it correctly. I also felt there should be a way to know if the seat is in tight enough, so that you are confident it will not move in case of an accident. But I liked that I could get my child in and out fairly quickly.

We’re not Strollers for the Littles so strollers don’t get a lot of coverage around here. Since this car seat is also evenflo wagon stroller a stroller, we feel obligated to take a look at it. The harness strap covers on Revolve are a 2-piece design.

It can be used either as a rear facing seat for infants or as a front facing seat for older children. Although I like most of the features of this car seat and feel that it was a good buy for the price, it could be improved by adding a little more padding. The stroller frame has to be used for airplane installation, but you can likely roll it through the aisles of most planes.

A week later after we ordered another car seat from Graco this time, we check our account and Evenflo decided to charge our account once again. I told My fiancé and he called and they said that since they got the car seat in stock they went ahead and shipped to us a car seat that would be here by the 8th. We explained we didn’t want it and that we had already ordered another car seat and they told us okay they will call FedEx track the package and then refund us that day (this was Friday). The lady never called us back nor did we get our refund.

Remove the wheels from the carrier, then place the Shyft DualRide on the vehicle seat with the harness facing the rear of the vehicle. Thread the vehicle seat belt through the belt guides, buckle the seat belt, then route the shoulder portion of the belt around the back of the seat. If the retractor has not engaged by this point, pull the shoulder evenflo wagon stroller portion of the seat belt all the way out until it clicks, then let it retract back into the vehicle. Press down on the carrier to remove more slack from the belt, then check your work by giving the seat a firm handshake at the belt path. The seat is lightweight yet sturdy, and it is easy to keep clean. However, I would like to see some different options for anchoring the seat that would make installation easier and close to the same procedure for various types of vehicles. The seat is easier to install in face forward position and easier to place child in and secure the straps with less effort.

The main portion of the harness covers are referred to as “harness strap pads” and these have a grippy material sewn into the underside of the pads. I flipped it over to photograph the grippy material but I want to be clear that this is the backside of the harness strap pad which will be making contact with your child’s clothing. Pull the seat cover around the shell of the car seat and attach it to the plastic clips.

It would be nice if a swivel base could be developed for rear facing position. This would make placing the child in the seat less time consuming and would be especially nice for inclement weather. Evenflo recommends using the lower LATCH strap in booster mode but prohibits the use of the tether strap. Off the record, I know what their reasoning is and it’s nothing scary or safety-related so don’t overthink this or start rumors about how tethering other products in booster mode must be a bad idea. Just follow the manual in this case and disconnect the tether (store the hook in its storage location) when you are transitioning to booster mode. Just to clarify, you can use the latch strap to secure Revolve 360 in booster mode at any weight.

Attach the seat to the base by lining up the red arrow on the seat (which you’ll find underneath the flap of fabric) with the white arrow on the base. Pull the chest clip to ensure that the harness is equal on both sides. Ensure that the harness is placed at the child’s shoulders. Evenflo’s lawyers argued that when plaintiffs are not physically or otherwise injured by an unsafe product, they lack standing under Article III of the U.S.
