BISSELL Recalls Cordless Multi-Surface Wet Dry Vacuums Due to Fire Hazard

Since you can’t configure it as a handheld vacuum, it isn’t suitable for cleaning pet hair from furniture. It also lacks a HEPA filter, and some allergens can escape from its exhaust. The Max is good for cleaning bare floors. It easily clears away pet hair as well as small and bulky debris on this surface type, with no significant loss in suction performance as its dustbin fills up. Its mopping function is also quite effective in dealing with dried-on dirt and debris.

This is the first time it has happened – when I put on the docking station and push power a red light comes on then after a second or two it beeps and the red light goes off. This machine is about a year old but has probably only been used a dozen times. This will run for about 40 seconds and shut dyson robot vacuum off when it’s done. The dirty water tank icon will flash to remind you to empty the tank. It will then enter into a self-cleaning mode where It flushes out dirt, hair, and debris. When the self cleaning cycle is finished, simply empty the dirty tank of water and its ready for the next use.

You can just pull out this filter and throw away the dirt, pouring just dirty water away down the sink, without fear of causing a blockage. Once you release the trigger, the floor cleaner then sucks up the dirty water (and any other debris) into the waste tank. The tank has a capacity of 0.55 litres, so you’ll likely have to empty it a couple of times for each full tank of cleaning solution. The water tank was pretty dirty after cleaning my area rugs so I know it did its job. My real highlight with the Crosswave vacuum is the mop for hard surfaces. The BISSELL CrossWave Cordless Max does a good job dealing with stains when used with the Multi-Surface cleaning formula.

The Bissell crosswave pro max has many more high end features with its cordless design. The pet pro is not cordless but it does have a larger roller at 12in covering a bit more of a large area at a time. We’ve done the research on products designed to save you time and money. The Max feels decently well-built. It’s similar to the BISSELL CrossWave Pet Pro in terms of overall build quality, with a body made mainly from hard plastic and an aluminum wand. The floorhead release hinge unlocks with very little effort, making it hard to roll the vacuum around when it’s positioned completely upright.
