Going through multiple cleaning sessions let us repeatedly set up, break down and test portability of these units. Many pressure washers had unique features like a hose reel, little baskets, spray wand rests, multiple spray tips, and other little features we tried out on-site. The SPX3000 also has small wheels that seem to be designed only for perfectly flat surfaces such as a paved driveway. Thankfully, at 32 pounds, this washer is fairly light, because while working on a lawn, we ended up half dragging, half carrying it behind us rather than rolling it. They provide a variety of spray patterns suitable for varied cleaning needs. Cleaning nozzles convert the water delivered by the pump into a spray pattern for various purposes. A soap injection nozzle has a wide angle spray that mixes soap and water, and spreads soapy water on the surface you intend to clean at a lower pressure. A cleaning nozzle has a narrow spray to power the dirt off and rinse the soap away. To start the pressure washer, first connect the garden hose to the inlet valve.
Simply, you have to adjust them as required to operate the washer for different cleaning tasks. GPM – Gallons Per Minute will let you know how many gallons of water is flowing through the pressure washer in a minute. Simply, the larger the GPM number, the greater will be its water output. The washer features a trolley-style mobile design allowing for portability.
In the configuration, the built-in axial cam pump produces a reliable and constant spray. At the bottom, the 12-inch wheels offer easy mobility on different terrains. This unit allows you to pour up to 32-fluid ounces detergent inside the built-in soap tank. Gas pressure washers won’t cause your electricity bill to spike, either. You’ll simply refill your gas pressure washer with gas from a gas pump, much like you would a gas lawnmower.
Connect the high-pressure hose to both the pressure washer and to the spray wand/gun. Not all models had onboard detergent tanks, but they all had a way to use detergent.
