All of this has allowed Curacao to build a unique relationship with its customers and their communities. Gone are the days when Beats were purely ‘all about dat bass.’ The Studio3 has a more grown-up sound signature than its forebears. That’s not to say that it doesn’t have some punch, but the emphasis is more on the higher end of the bass spectrum, rather than the lower and sub-bass frequencies. This works well in some situations but falls down in others.
The device has an option to mute/unmute a conversation directly from the device. An indicator shows you when the device has low battery. Devices with a higher sound pressure level are generally louder when supplied with any given audio source. Foldable devices are easier to transport and take up less storage space.
The Beats Studio3 Wireless are slightly better headset than the Beats Solo3 Wireless thanks to noise cancellation. The Studio3 isolate a bit better in noisy conditions, which makes them a better option for commute and travel than the Solo3. They also have a more comfortable over-ear design that most may prefer over the on-ear fit of the Solo3. The Solo3, on the other hand, are a bit more compact and have a much better battery life than the Studio variant.
These headphones impressed us with their noise-canceling, battery life, sound, and general existence. We would recommend these over the Studio3 Wireless for any and all reasons. Their bass was a driving force that we craved, and enjoyed with every track – not something we can say for the Studio3 Wireless. They also cost a whole $2 less than the Beats, at $348. If you’re interested in saving a little cash, the older XM2s will certainly be going on sale soon. The Bose 700 Headphones Wireless are better for most uses than the Wireless.

However, we would also be willing to bet that those same listeners would be able to tell how much better the Bose QuietComfort 35 series sounds in comparison. Apple has added its latest Active Noise Cancelation tech to the beats flex review spec.
Unfortunately, they don’t have passive playback, so if the battery is completely dead, you won’t be able to use the headphones. While Beats did create a good pair of wireless headphones in the Studio3, they pale in comparison to their main competitors from Bose and Sony. The Beats headphones have a bit more flair in their design, while the more austere look of the Bose headphones almost lends an air of formality. A wind adaptation feature kicks in after five seconds, for instance, which is useful. But plenty of noise-canceling headphones, like the Bose QuietComfort lineup, don’t require an adjustment period, they simply eliminate the audio once it’s picked up by the NC mics. Class 1 Bluetooth support means extended range beyond the typical 33 feet Bluetooth allows—our headphones stayed connected through walls and doors, approximately 45 feet, before we lost connection.
