Yes, it’s basic, but for the low price you are getting a well-made and sturdy bike that offers a quiet and smooth ride. I needed help assembling the tension cable of my magnetic elliptical bike that I had just received. She reviewed the video that was available and that was not the one I needed. She then looked up alternate assembly instructions and sent me a video that worked. Viewed it and had it assembled in less than five minutes and could continue with the rest of the assembly of the elliptical bike.
