One of iOS 16’s most praised features comes at the cost of draining battery life, according to recently published Apple support documents. Twitter users noticed the absence of the Beats headphones beats studio3 earlier today, and it appears they disappeared from Apple’s site shortly after the debut of the Beats Fit Pro. Like other Beats headphones, you control volume and playback with the right ear cup.

From an ANC standpoint, Beats isn’t quite on par with Bose, but you’re also paying less. That said, the price still feels a bit high, though as with Bose, popular branding comes with its own premium. Ultimately, the headphones deliver more than just a familiar logo, with effective ANC and powerful audio that will appeal to bass lovers. The beats studio3 and the SteelSeries Arctis 7P Wireless have different strengths, and you may prefer either one, depending on your needs. They have a more comfortable fit and a boom mic with a much better overall performance.

And turning the headphones on or off is as simple as folding the headband hinge in or out. The headphones are also capable of using the Apple Audio Sharing feature—if you’re near another person with compatible headphones, you can share audio wirelessly. That said, only a handful of headphones currently support this iOS 13 feature.

The Solo3 Wireless is just $50 more and packs many of the same features. Our current favorite option, the Sony WH-1000XM3, has slightly better sound and the adaptive ANC works very well. The Bose 700 is another very nice set of noise-cancelling headphones, but they’re even more expensive at $399. To me, the extra comfort that all three of those offer is worth the extra money. They’re much thicker than previous Solo models, which helps enhance comfort. The padding on the headband has more cushion as well, and it pinches your head less.

Furthermore, there is an app you can download that controls the same functions. This means you can develop playlists and control every function right from your smartphone. Wearable wireless audio accessories are all the rage these days. The ability to quickly and easily connect to your mobile device makes listening to music a whole lot more enjoyable.

The beats flex review and the Sony LinkΒuds Truly Wireless are very different and you may prefer either depending on what you’re looking for. The Beats are on-ear headphones with a good noise isolation and a more neutral sound profile with a much more accurate bass response. They’re designed to not block your ears and let you hear your surroundings. They struggle to reproduce bass, but are more customizable, since they have a graphic EQ and presets in their app. The Razer Nari Ultimate Wireless are better for gaming than the Beats Solo Pro Wireless. The Razer are more comfortable, and their mic has a much better overall performance.

They also work with a companion app that gives you access to an EQ and presets. However, the Beats feel better built and have a more neutral sound profile. The Beats Solo Pro Wireless are better than the JBL Tune 510BT Wireless. The Beats have a more breathable and stable fit, noticeably better build quality, and an ANC system that enables them to block out an impressive amount of ambient noise. Meanwhile, the JBL have longer battery life and multi-device pairing capability, so you can stream music from your phone while remaining connected to your computer.

Carrying onto the comfort, the two headphones will provide enough of it thanks to their broad and plush cushioning. During our trials, we were very impressed with both in terms of comfort. Beats Solo Pro comes equipped with a Lightning to USB-A charging cable type, whereas the Beats Solo 3 comes with a USB-A to USB Micro-B charging cable. The Beats Solo Pro has a battery life of up to 22 hours with ANC and 40 hours without ANC.
